Our Log is a machine lathed smooth round log. It has a Swedish coping the length of the log and saddle notches for the corners of the building. Because our logs are a smooth finished log, they require very little sanding before sealing your walls while still exposing all the colors, characteristics and beauty of natural wood. Because they are a lathed turned log they are the same diameter from one end to the other. As the logs are stacked they are trued with a level which results in giving you a wall that is as even inside and out as is possible when using any framing materials. This enables you to hang cabinets, pictures etc. without problem. There is no need to sheetrock or panel the inside of your log wall to hang cabinets.
