erra Resources, Ltd. began as a family mining partnership in 1976 between Cyril L. Wood and Lawrence D. Wood. In 1985, the partnership was incorporated as Marmot Mining & Exploration, Inc. In 1988, the name changed to Magnum Resources, International, Inc. In 1996, Terra Resources, Ltd. took over where Magnum left off. Manufacturing and marketing rights to Terra Wash™, the soil remediation concept, are licensed to Terra Resources, Ltd. by Lawrence D. Wood, the surviving owner of the concept. Lawrence D. Wood holds all rights to Terra Wash™. Over $2,300,000 has been invested in our alluvial mining and soil remediation system concepts. Not one dime of public money has ever been used for the design, fabrication, or testing of these systems. Our mining and soil remediation concepts represent 28 years of hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance in the face of Alaska’s boombust economy and an unfavorable political climate to resource development. Where mining was once the primary emphasis, environmental reclamation has become a natural application for the company’s technologies and experience. Terra Resources, Ltd. draws its experience from doing, from creating, and from making our concepts work at our risk. What we then field, whether for mining or for soil remediation,, are tested and reliable equipment concepts.
